We are pleased to announce that VDE Renewables Asia, in conjunction with the Singapore Battery Consortium, will be organizing a 3-day workshop titled “Li-ion Masterclass: Characteristics, Battery Testing, and Practical Testing” from 16th to 18th Dec 2020. In addition to information sessions on battery fundamentals, safety & regulations, and quality control, the workshop aims to provide participants with practical hands-on training with masterclass demonstrations from VDE trainers and Hioki. The workshop fee is SGD 2700 per pax, and the registration deadline is 11th Dec 2020. SBC members enjoy a 15% discount (SGD 2295), and get a further 15% early bird discount if registration is done by 5th Dec 2020 (SGD 1950.75).

As part of Singapore Battery Consortium’s (SBC) aims to promote the deployment of new battery technologies and products, SBC is co-hosting this session with Siemens. In this webinar, SBC will share the consortium’s focus areas and activities that drive their vision of impacting the growth of advanced battery related technologies through innovation driven public-private partnerships. It will also cover Singapore’s national plans in-relation to energy storage locally and beyond.

In conjunction with Hioki, SBC will be hosting a webinar exploring opportunities and challenges in different sectors of lithium-ion technology. The webinar features insights from industry experts in our consortium: Hioki (measurement and characterization), Durapower (production perspective), VDE Renewables (safety and testing), and Ion Mobility (e-bikes applications).

Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) 2020 will take place from 26 to 30 October 2020 as a hybrid event, with both onsite and digital elements designed for all participants. The theme for SIEW 2020 is "Creating Our Low Carbon Energy Future Together".
